Schedule Rules
Define your ideal weekly schedule. These time slots create the framework for when different types of actions can be scheduled throughout your day.
Slot Types
Weekday Schedule (Mon-Fri)
- Total Work Time: ~6 hours
- Learning Time: ~2.5 hours
- Exercise: 1.5 hours (3x/week)
- Family Time: ~4 hours
Weekend Schedule (Sat-Sun)
- Rest & Recharge
- Quality Family Time
- Personal Projects & Hobbies
Notice that 9:30-12:00 has THREE overlapping options: Deep Learning, Climbing, or Client Deep Work. This represents real-life flexibility. On busy work weeks, skip climbing and use that time for deep work. When you have breathing room, honor your learning goals. The non-negotiable slots (highlighted in yellow) are your hard boundaries - everything else adapts around them.
- 7:30-8:30: Kids ready for school
- 15:30-16:30: Kids pickup & family time
- 20:00-21:00: Kids bedtime & reading
These are your anchors. Everything else flexes around them.
When you create an action, assign it a slot type (e.g., "Deep Work", "Family Time"). That action will appear in ANY slot of that type throughout your day. If Deep Learning gets bumped by urgent work, your learning actions won't disappear - they'll still show up in any other compatible slots you create.
Slots marked with ⚡ ENERGIZERSwill prompt you with positive micro-actions every ~25 minutes. These are quick, rewarding breaks like:
- "Go make yourself a cup of tea, you deserve this ☕"
- "Hold a Warrior 3 pose for 30 seconds 🧘"
- "Send a quick thank-you message to someone 💌"
- "20 pushups - you've got this! 💪"
- "Step outside for 60 seconds of fresh air 🌿"
These micro-breaks keep your energy high during deep work sessions and prevent burnout.
